Re: what are we workin on or buildin ? « Result #10 on Aug 8, 2005, 2:19am »
Well i still check in every day,,but for some reason,,people are not coming here much,,,I need to find out why,,,maybee the layout is no good,,,,. Any how,,,,lots has happened to me since you last posted,,,bought and sold multiple vehicles,,(still got my 62 Thunderbird) my son now owns the 64 Thunderbird,,,and i have got myself a real big beautiful 1975 F350 Ranger XLT Camper Special,Club Cab,Long Box,Trim Kit,Sleeper section,,460cube,auto,,,,whew!!!!thats a mouthfull..... My work shop is off to a great start,,,we got six of the posts sunk in the ground, and anchored with concrete,,,going to pick up my lumber which is stored at my buddy Verns place on 264th & HWY 1,,,,,but it's going to be built by the end of summer for sure,,,whoo hooo!!!! Yesterday,,,i had to go rescue my sister and her boyfriend,,and her kids up at Weaver Lake Her boyfriends Jeep broke down, and the kids where stuck up at the Camp site,,,Wayyyy,,,up on the other side of the Mountain,,,,,what a climb it was,,,,the road's where so steep and rocky,,that the deck wood on my Tandem Trailer bounced out(Three boards anyway)and with them went the trailer wiring,,,which some intelligent soul had stapled to the underneath of the deck for tidy puposes,,,,,,,well when the boards bounced out,,they took the wiring with them,,,so now i have no trailer lights and it's pitch black,,,,,So,,,,,it takes about 15 to 20 minutes of painfull slow climbing to get up over the mountain and down the other side to Weaver Lake campgrounds,,,and when i get to the Camp site,,,,My truck is pissing tranny fluid all down the road,,,,,so now it's getting realy dark,,,and the trailer has no lights,,and my tranny is starting to slip,,,,,,And I'M the one who is supposed to be rescuing my sister and her boyfriend!!! Well,,,we decided to stay the night at the camp ground,,,it was too dark to do anything else anyway,,,So we sat around till 3:00am Drinking our faces off. Cut a long story short,,,,,,,,,we got the trailer rewired this morning,,,and got my sis to drive her car down to the nearest gas station for tranny fluid,,,then we winched her boyfriends jeep up onto my trailer,,and got back home to Mission with it,,,,now,,i gotta take my truck to work (at Kilby Historical store and Camp site) so's i can go back up the mountain after work,,and hook up to My sisters sail boat and bring it down also. Whew!!!!!......so we'll see what further trouble i can get into to-morrow afternoon.. TTFN
